Air Compressor Oil
If you have purchased a new air compressor, please follow the advice of the manufacturer in determining which oil (or type of oil) to use in a new unit. Some compressor manufacturers approve the use of 10w-30 synthetic oil.
20 or 30 weight non-detergent oil can be used in almost any type of compressor. This type of oil can be found at air compressor service centers, auto supply stores or home repair stores (i.e. Home Depot).
