Metal air filter with element, 1/2" MPT. For VT, TQ, and VH style pumps. This new metal style replaces the plastic felt style. If you need the filter element only, order VH901800AV.

Note: This new-style filter assy has a 1/2" MPT thread (measures 3/4" OD). If your old head's air inlet is not threaded, you will need to order a new head assembly and Unloader Line Kit so that this new filter will install.  

Extra Details

Since the older "VT" pump heads had air intakes that were not threaded, if you need to replace your air filter you will need to use the new-style VH901700AV Filter Assembly which is threaded.

This means you will need to replace the Pump Head with the new-style VT273201SJ Head/Valve Plate Kit, which comes with the new Head with 1/2" FPT threaded intake port as well as the new-style valve plate with gaskets. If your old head had two lines coming out of it, you will also need the MP513901SJ Unloader Line Kit which reroutes the small 1/4" unloader line from your pressure switch to your check valve. This is necessary because the new-style head only has one outlet for your large discharge tube (whereas older heads accommodated both the discharge tube and the unloader line).
